在中西艺术史中，有一个至关重要的空间意象——“乐园”，它既代表了经典文献所塑造的伊甸园和布满玫瑰郁金香的绿洲，也承载着柏拉图笔下《理想国》的雏形。俯瞰艺术史，艺术家们以自己的作品构建独特的“时空乐园”，当代的创作洪流在乐园中涌动前行，艺术家们都创造出自己的“乐园”世界观的安定之处。 中国新绘画中的艺术家典型案例的视觉之新、精神之新、叙事之新打造了中国当代真正具有沁心稚趣的青春乐园。譬如刘野《静物》的温暖童趣、陈可《夜明珠》的沉谧浪漫、韦嘉《美丽与哀愁都微不足道》的明媚澄净、高瑀《高士图》的儒雅文趣，作品中的米菲、女孩、花朵、卡通形象真正将我们代入到简单纯粹的理想国中。青春乐园作为中国新绘画案例研究的第一个主题，选取的艺术家各出机杼，共同造就了中国当代的青春新貌。 乐园繁盛、壮丽、欢乐、梦幻。本次展览将“乐园”凝固在“青春”的真诚之中，一方面彰示在康德“艺术作为自由的游戏”理论下，人们对天性的呼唤，另一方面即是对“中国新绘画”艺术家群体的概括性总结。艺术史的研究要落于细处，透过学术的透镜，方可窥见乐园每一处的层楼叠榭，别有洞天风采。 乐园千面，各美其美。乐园之于烟囱，是人间烟火，从纤小的时光碎片中折射出生活的神话；之于温凌，是流水札记，以自我的“低姿态”视角呈现出无可取代的个体经验；之于俞洁，是秘辛世界，停留在诗意和戏剧性之间瞬间觉悟的东方智慧；之于赵亮，是澄澈心境,映射主观生命情趣与客观自然景象的交融互渗；之于李轶君，是行者无疆，在旅途中探索天地之广，收拢万里月光；之于文爵，是无限观想，于古典神话、个人虚构和集体幻想的浅浮雕式图腾中打造开放领域；之于Toi，是自由律动，用充满力量的线条打通时间与空间的穿行轨道。                          个案研究是针对艺术家个人的文献马拉松，超越自我，才塑新生。中国新绘画案例研究的意义，不止在于探索中青年卓越艺术家启蒙的每一处发端，更是循迹中国当代勃发涌动的力量根源，带领我们以积极乐观的态度展望未来，浸润美的光辉。 In the history of Chinese and Western art, there is a crucial spatial imagery known as the “paradise”. It represents not only the biblical Garden of Eden and oases filled with roses and tulips, as shaped by classical literature, but also embodies the embryonic form of Plato’s Republic. Looking through the history of art, artists have constructed a unique “paradise of time and space”, and the contemporary creative currents flow forward within these paradises. Artists have created their own stable abode of the worldview of a “paradise.” The visual, spiritual and narrative novelty of typical cases in Chinese New Painting have created a truly fresh and youthful paradise. For example, the warm childlike charm with Miffy in Liu Ye’s “Still Life”, the serene romance with the girl in Chen Ke’s “Night Luminous Pearl”, the bright and pure essence with the flowers in Wei Jia’s “Both Beauty and Sorrow Are Insignificant”, and the refined cultural interest with the cartoon image in Gao Yu’s “Scholar's Portrait” truly transport us into a world of simplicity and purity, akin to an ideal realm. The theme of the youth paradise serves as the first topic in the study of contemporary Chinese painting cases, where the selected artists each contribute their unique perspectives, collectively creating a fresh outlook on the contemporary Chinese youth. A paradise is exuberant, magnificent, joyful and dreamy. This exhibition congeals the Paradise in the sincerity of “youth”.On the one hand, it signifies the call of human nature under Kant's theory of "art as free play."  On the other hand, it serves as an comprehensive summary of the group of artists in "Chinese New Painting." The study of art history needs to delve into the details, and through the lens of academia, one can catch a glimpse of the layered and magnificent beauty of every aspect of the paradise. It reveals a hidden realm of its own. The Paradise is beautiful in various ways. For artist Yan Cong, Paradise is shown as the earthly life,while the myth of life is reflected in the tiny fragments of time. For Wen Ling, it is a flowing journal, presenting irreplaceably individual experiences from a personal and humble perspective. As for Yu Jie, it is a secret and profound world, where Eastern wisdom awakens in the moments suspended between poetry and theatricality. For Zhao Liang, it is a clear state of mind, where subjective life interests and objective natural scenes blend and merge. As to Li Yijun, it is an endless journey, gathering moonlight along thousands of miles when exploring the breadth of heaven and earth. From where Wen Jue stands, it is an unlimited realm of imagination, crafting an open space within the shallow relief totem of classical mythology, personal fiction and collective fantasies. Paradise is the free rhythmic movements to Toi, channelling through time and space with powerful lines. The case study is a documentary marathon for individual artists, transcending the self to shape new beginnings. The significance of case studies in Chinese New Painting goes beyond exploring the beginnings of outstanding young artists; it also traces the roots of the burgeoning and dynamic forces in contemporary China. it leads us to look into the future with a positive attitude, and to immerse ourselves in the glow of beauty.
